Terms of Service

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, for safeguarding access to your account, and for activity performed through it. Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

The service

Redline provides tools for importing, editing, comparing, generating, formatting, and exporting resumes, cover letters, and related job-application materials. Features and limits may vary by plan and may change as the service develops.

Redline does not guarantee employment, interviews, applicant-tracking-system results, or the accuracy or suitability of generated content. You are responsible for reviewing every document and deciding what to submit to an employer.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create. You grant Redline a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transform, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the features you request. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide the content and that it does not violate law or another person's rights.

AI-assisted features

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, generic, or inappropriate for a particular role. Do not submit false qualifications or confidential information you are not authorized to disclose. You remain responsible for reviewing, editing, and using generated output.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Prices, included usage, and plan features are displayed before purchase. Stripe processes payments. You may manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise. Taxes and refund rights are handled as disclosed at purchase and required by law.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use Redline unlawfully, fraudulently, or to misrepresent another person.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security or plan limits.
• Upload malware or content that infringes privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights.
• Use automated access except through interfaces Redline expressly provides.
• Resell or provide the service to others without permission.

Third-party services

Redline depends on services such as Firebase, Google Cloud, Stripe, Gmail, and AI providers. Their services may have separate terms and may occasionally be unavailable. Connecting an optional third-party account authorizes Redline to use it only within the permissions you grant, until you disconnect it or the grant otherwise ends.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Redline or delete your account at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Redline is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, Redline will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, or lost data arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as Redline changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
